This is a list of services that are currently available. These services are provided publicly, unless stated otherwise. The current uptime statistics of each service can be found here.

🔒 - Available on request

Current

  • Linkding 🔒
A link bookmarking service similar to services like Instapaper or Pinboard. Self-serve registrations to be added at a later date.
  • Miniflux 🔒
    A minimalist RSS reader.
  • Misskey (Sharkey)
An alternative to microblogging services like Twitter.
  • Mumble 🔒
High quality, low latency voice chat. Ignore the self-signed certificate warning, it works perfectly fine.
  • Personal Data Server 🔒
A component of the AT Protocol network which hosts user data and communicates with its applications.
  • Pleroma
Another federated microblogging service like Misskey, but lighter and with a UI more similar to old Twitter.
  • SearXNG
Privacy-oriented metasearch engine that aggregates results from many other search engines and combines them.

Inactive

  • XMPP (Jabber) 🔒
Instant messaging server running on Prosody, almost compliant according to Conversation.im's tester. Currently down due to the VPS migration, will come back online at some point.

Future

  • Alternative frontends
Privacy-respecting clients for other services (Piped, Binternet, BreezeWiki, etc.) that is not just good but something that I would actively use.
  • Game servers
Multiplayer servers for various games (mostly shooters).
  • Git
A hosting solution for source code and Git repositories. I'm not really sure exactly whether to build a full forge with Forgejo (Gitea but lamer) or GitLab, or to just use cgit.

Vanity projects

  • Gopher and/or Gemini website
Porting the blog over to these protocols would be really fun, but I would have to do it manually since Zola isn't designed to handle their markup languages.
  • Tor/I2P proxies
Shouldn't take too long to configure, plus they'd be really useful to have.

Fediverse complaints

Reports can be done through your instance, and I act on them if they're not completely moronic in nature (eg. hashtag misuse).

Donations

The current costs of this operation is ~$3 USD a month. As I am alleged to be "broke", donations to continue hosting these services would help a lot, and would allow me to expand my offerings.

I use Ko-fi for PayPal donations (as well as Stripe) because unlike Liberapay it doesn't reveal your name and email when you send money, and it's also easier to send a one-off donation with it. It's not open source, but it works the best out of anything else here.

Liberapay

Patreon-like website licensed under the CC0 license, Stripe is available for payment.

Cryptocurrency

Monero

I only offer Monero at the moment, but you really shouldn't use anything else unless you like using mediocre "D"Apps. If enough people want to donate with a specific coin, I'll accomodate for it. OpenAlias is available to quickly send money from your wallet.
